This online project allows more than 100 invited artists, writers and curators to respond to the title of Accidental Purpose with their own associated ideas. Existing as an evolving compendium, Accidental Purpose will display images, animations, videos and texts utilising incidental strategies of display. The website will be live from the 26 of July and can be viewed from QUAD’s Resource Area during the exhibition Accidentally on Purpose.
Accidental Purpose is part of a wider exhibition and event programme curated by Candice Jacobs and Fay Nicolson in collaboration with QUAD.
